For those of you who don't know, an organization calling themselves "Cocks, not Glocks" has started a movement on multiple college campuses here in TX. The latest victim of their absurdity is UT of Arlington. Students have gathered around a booth that is handing out over 400 pre-owned dildos that locals donated. The movement is a protest against a number of students over 21, who took a state certified course, and passed a background check to get licensed to conceal carry a firearm on campus. These protestors are arguing that having a dildo is still illegal on a college campus but some students are now conceal carrying a firearm.
As of January 1, 2016, Texas legislation passed a law that allows Texans to choose between conceal carrying or open carrying their pistol. Along with this legislation, passed a law, known as "campus carry". Before this law, students/teachers had to leave their pistol in their vehicle, completely concealed away. With the new law, anyone licensed, may now conceal carry on campus. Campuses had until August 1, 2016 to decide how they wanted to handle the new law.
You'll notice a trend, if you go to one of these protest, in the type of student you see there. It will almost always be a young beta male, wearing hipster type clothing, who feels he needs a safe space for when he's "triggered" by words. Along with these beta male types, are purple haired, rebellious, females. Neither of these types of people will actually do anything to contribute to society or their country, instead, they choose to complain and cry until the environment around them gives in to their demands. You'll also notice their T-shirts, with giant penii and a slogan of "Take it and Come". I find this ironic from a generation that claims rape if a man even looks at them wrong. Their only complaint isn't that you can't have your dildo while attending class, it's that they feel unsafe knowing other students might have a gun with them. The hypocrisy lies in the fact they will support abortion, but guns are scary because they kill people.

I'm going to point out the flaw in this thinking right now.
1. Any type of student conceal carrying a gun, will NOT be in your gender studies class anyways.
2. It is illegal to open carry a gun on campus just like it is illegal to open carry your dildo.
3. You'll never even know who is carrying.
4. Most school shootings could have come to a very quick halt if any of the students or teachers had been armed.
5. Students have to be 21 or older and licensed to carry a gun. The amount of college students old enough to even carry will be minimal. There's more than likely one type of person carrying on your campus; Veterans. They've served their time in the military, are old enough to carry, and trained to do so. You're safer just having them around.
One student was quoted saying:
“We wanted something fun that people could really engage in. Because it’s hard to get involved in the political process at our age, people our age don’t tend to vote or get involved, and this is so easy. Strap a dildo on and you’re showing the Texas legislature this is not a decision we wanted.”This is a terrible attitude for the youth of today to have. If you want to carry your phallic objects around with you, do what gun owners did; we wrote our congressman and got it passed in a bill eventually. It took work, but we made it happen. So instead of trying to take rights away from law abiding, good citizens because you feel offended; do something to gain rights for YOUR cause, whatever that may be.
So as far as you go, "Cocks, not Glocks", we will just see you as the toddler in the supermarket throwing a tantrum because they didn't get what they wanted. Stop giving your generation a bad name, get active in a productive way, and actually do some research and logical thinking before getting behind an empty movement.
Those things are huge! No way they can conceal them.
